The app starts with 18 push-ups on day 1, 21 on day 2, etc (sets of 3-4). If I could do that I wouldnt need the app. It makes no allowances to start at a different beginning point, and for someone like my wife (who doesnt have the upper body strength to do 1 proper pushup) it gives none of the easier alternates for beginners who want to work up to real push-ups.
The app feels like it was written by some male programmers without consulting fitness experts or resistance trainers.
Its perfect for a 18-30yo guy that can do push-ups but needs an app to get back into it.
